Suturion wins the Medtech4Health Innovation Award 2026

Suturion has been awarded the Medtech4Health Innovation Award 2026, recognizing innovative medical technologies that contribute to improved patient outcomes and support the development of healthcare.

The award was presented in Stockholm, bringing together leading innovators from across the MedTech sector.

This recognition is a strong validation of Suturion’s mission: enabling surgeons to perform abdominal wall closure that is fast, safe, and standardized with SutureTOOL™. By supporting the recommended small-bites technique, SutureTOOL™ aims to reduce complications and improve surgical outcomes.

Suturion would like to thank Medtech4Health, a national strategic innovation program funded by Vinnova, which brings together academia, industry, and healthcare to accelerate the development and implementation of medical technology innovations in Sweden. 

We also congratulate the other finalists, NIL Medical and Geras Solutions, for their important contributions to the field.

The award further strengthens Suturion’s commitment to refining surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes worldwide.
